Why it matters
Pakistan's environmental challenges will be managed by the professionals entering the field over the next decade — engineers, planners, scientists, lawyers, and policy specialists. Strong environmental education, both at the university level and through continuing professional development, determines whether that generation is equipped to handle problems like water security, urban heat, and climate adaptation with the technical depth they require.
