Environmental Advocacy
PAEP uses its collective professional voice to push for stronger environmental standards, better enforcement, and policy that reflects what the evidence actually shows.
Why professional advocacy matters
Individual professionals raising concerns about weak enforcement, pollution, or poor planning often struggle to be heard. A professional association can carry that same concern with more institutional weight — engaging directly with regulators, submitting comments on proposed regulations, and giving members a coordinated channel to influence policy instead of acting alone.
What this program covers
- Engaging with federal and provincial Environmental Protection Agencies
- Public comment and input on proposed environmental regulations
- Raising awareness of enforcement gaps in existing environmental law
- Coordinating member voices on issues that affect the profession and the public
